Lunches, Fruit and Breakfast Club

Children who are to go home for lunch must bring a note or the parent must contact the school. Children will not otherwise be allowed to go home.

Healthy School Lunch Programme

  • Ruapotaka is part of the Ministry funded lunches in schools scheme.

  • Every child in the school is provided with a lunch. It is not compulsory for them to eat it.

  • The is a variety of different meals on a 2 week cycle, fruit is also provided with the lunch.

  • Children with special dietary needs are catered for. Please let the office know.

Breakfast Club

This term we are able to provide breakfast to students who need it. We have weet-bix and milk with or without sugar available and when possible, fruit. Breakfast will only be Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 8:30am. Students will need to stay in the room once they arrive until 8:30am. If you would like your child to use this service please let the office know or your child’s teacher.

Fruit

We are lucky to receive fruit every day for every child. There is always a variety to keep the children healthy and full.
