On behalf of the Ruapotaka School Board of Trustees, staff and tamariki, I extend a very warm welcome to you and your whanau

Ruapotaka School caters for students from Year 0-8. We are located in the heart of Central East Auckland in Panmure. We are close to the Panmure Transport Hub with the Mighty Maungarei Mountain as a beautiful backdrop. We belong to the wider Tamaki community, Manaiakalani Kahui Ako and enjoy active parent involvement in our school in a variety of areas.

We offer, collaborative opportunities for all staff, tamariki and whanau in all aspects of learning. We encourage our whanau to be involved with the school as much as possible and our doors are always open.

Our curriculum is framed by the New Zealand Curriculum and we strive to maintain up to date philosophies based from current research and professional development. We expect our students to be active participants of their learning “knowing what they are learning, why they are learning it and what their next steps are”.

Our leadership team work collaboratively with all staff to best meet the educational and pastoral needs of every learner in our school. We have a focus on quality literacy and numeracy programmes in all classrooms and and we encourage our students to strive for personal excellence in all learning areas of the curriculum.

We all strive to be “Better than Before” in our learning, behaviour, attitude and relationships and we strive to live our philosophy in everything we do. We are an inclusive, caring school where staff, whanau and tamariki all work together to develop our future citizens and leaders.

We look forward to being your school of choice for your child’s education.
